Granular access control in CRM: give every employee exactly what they need
As a team grows, the owner needs to control who sees what. In Ali-E CRM we made permissions granular — down to a single menu item.
Module-level and item-level access
In the 'Team' section, when inviting or editing an employee, expand a module and tick only the items you need. Keep 'Leads' but remove 'Deals'; open inventory for 'Products' only; enable or disable Sites, Whiteboards and Calls per person.
Roles and presets
Owner and admin have full access. For everyone else there are handy presets (manager, accountant, employee) that you can fine-tune by hand for a specific person.
Protecting company settings
Finance, billing, team and other company settings are closed by default — an employee only sees their own profile and security. Access to company management opens only if the owner explicitly grants it.
Real restriction, not just hiding
Forbidden sections disappear from the menu, and opening them by direct link shows a 'No access' screen. Permissions apply to the AI assistant too — more in a dedicated post.
